Since SUSE 11 the YaST2 autofs module has gone. This is really
important in some scenarios.

Adding autohome mounts to LDAP is very non-user friendly if you
have to do it with something like GQ or ldapadd.

Unfortunately, we have limited resources and some modules that were not receiving proper maintenance and were not critical had to be abandoned.

We don't consider that a bug in YaST.

Feel free to use FATE (https://features.opensuse.org/) to ask for new (or resurrected) features. Maybe somebody decides to write a new module providing it.
