With the last kernel update on openSUSE 13.2 (version 3.16.7-45.1) the system did not recognize the soundcard (HDA Intel). Booting with previous kernel (3.16.7-42.1), sound returned. 

The system is an old toshiba satellite P200-17D laptop with an HDA Intel card and ALC268 chip (I think).

A known issue, the fix is in queue.
