Description Forgotten User RjL-3ttOjN 2016-12-24 13:25:02 UTC
Is it possible to copy a YAST2 error message from the GUI message box to the clipboard?

I received the following while configuring NFS and typed it by hand:

```
Fehler
Internal error. Please report a bug report with logs.
Details: Systemctl command failed: Timeout 30 seconds: LANG=C TERM=dumb COLUMNS=1024 systemctl --no-legend --no-pager --no-ask-password start nfs.service
Caller: /user/share/YaST2/lib/yast2/systemctl.rb:29: in `rescue in execute`
```

Is there a way to access this text without typing it?

I just saw that the error text is available in this file: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Report_a_YaST_bug

Maybe a hint to this file could be placed in the message box.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. You can find the error message in the log file (/var/log/YaST2/y2log).

This is not a bug after all, but if you want us to change (or improved) YaST behaviour in that regard, please open new FATE entry at https://features.opensuse.org/

Thanks!
