Description Forgotten User K-brBn3uS2 2017-02-18 15:04:34 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0
Build Identifier:

"# snapper list-configs" result is empty
"# btrfs sub list /" does not show .snapshots subvolume

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install leap 42.2 from DVD on btrfs partition (home and data on separate partitions), both desktop and server reproduce the error.
2. boot into new installation and verify with "snapper list"

Actual Results:
The config 'root' does not exist. Likely snapper is not configured.

Expected Results:
Type | # | Pre # | Date | User | Cleanup | Description | Userdata
-------+----+-------+--------------------------+------+----------+--------------+-------------
single | 0 | | | root | | current |

Happens on two identical systems with both KDE and server installations.

Entire /var/log content in the installation session before rebooting into the installed system.

That's an interesting issue. I looked if I could find a tests for openSUSE Leap 42.2 showing that this works but could not find any on https://openqa.opensuse.org

This is automated batch bugzilla cleanup.

The openSUSE 42.2 changed to end-of-life (EOL [1]) status. As such
it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates.
As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
openSUSE, or you can still observe it under openSUSE Leap 15.0, please
feel free to reopen this bug against that version (see the "Version"
component in the bug fields), or alternatively open
a new ticket.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed
during the lifetime of the release.
