Picture showing bluish color when the screen should display red

I tried the latest XFCE and LXDE images of Tumbleweed for Raspberry Pi 3 B linked from this location:

https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Raspberry_Pi3

I flashed the TW images to sdcard, let it boot up and install and then booted to start desktop. Both desktops of XFCE and LXDE have blue and red colors exchanged vice versa on HDMI screen.

I also tried Leap 42.2 images from this site as well as Raspbian images.

The Leap 42.2 are working as they should, giving a good picture on HDMI with correct colors. Also Raspbian has no such effects.

I attached a picture of unmodified theme selector of XFCE. This shows the name of the color that it thinks it displays. It says red while it shows blue on screen.

This makes Tumbleweed unusable on Raspberry Pi 3. Please fix.

I could reproduce it at a friends house with his Raspberry Pi 3 B.

Same problem. Colors with Leap 42.2 and Raspbian are working. Colors with Tumbleweed are broken as originally reported, which leaves Tumbleweed again unusable.

So it is a general software problem of tumbleweed on Raspberry Pi 3 B.

Hmm. Possibly we're running completely different X drivers on 42.2 and Tumbleweed. Please attach at least X logfiles (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) of Leap 42.2 and Tunbleweed.

IIRC the colors are already wrong during system boot.

Still it would be useful to know more about the used system.
