Description Ludwig Nussel 2017-06-19 13:32:25 UTC
According to a discussion on the Factory list there is a conflict between the backported drm drivers and the nvidia driver:
https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2017-06/msg00528.html

Does this only affect custom compiled nvidia drivers or also the rpm from from Nvidia?

I assume the same issue applies to SLED then?

It's analyzed in bug#1044816.

And yes, the problem should be present on rpm as well.

On SLED, the installation of drm-kmp is limited (Intel SKL+ and AMDGPU), but yes, the problem applies to SLED, too.
