Description James PEARSON 2018-02-18 11:00:09 UTC
I downloaded and installed openSUSE-Leap-15.0-DVD-x86_64-Build129.1-Media.iso
Leap15 installed ok [1] and my (dual boot Leap 15 / Leap 42.3) machine booted up fine so I attached my other hard drives under Leap 15.
[1] I do miss the fact that one can no longer import the existing mount points

I do however have one problem and that is that I am unable to change the name of the "Mount Point" of one my hard drives using the "Expert Partitioner" in Yast2

# Problem description
I open the "Expert Partitioner" in Yast2
I select "/dev/sdc1" under the "System View" section on the left side of the window and click on the "Edit" button on the "Partition" section - right side of the window

When the "Edit Partition /dev/sdc1" window opens I change the name of a "Mount Point" of one my hard drives under the "Mount device" section
from "/space5"
to "/space4"

I hit the "Finish" button...
Yast2 says "Modify the disks and potentially destroy your data"
I hit the "Continue" button...

The name of the mount point refuses to change.

Expected Result
"/dev/sdc1" should show up as "/space4"

The solution (as suggested by Roman Bysh <geeko.tor@gmx.com>) was to:
1-change the name of the mount point in /etc/fstab
2-run grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

Can you please attach YaST logs?
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Report_a_YaST_bug

On the other hand, I fail to see how grub2-mkconfig is connected to a failure changing a mount point from "/space5" to "/space4". Non of those mount points seem to be connected to booting in any way.

That problem should already be fixed by https://github.com/openSUSE/libstorage-ng/commit/bc1446922439b0a3a800d751abd3b3e0dfd45cb9.
