Bug 1086068

yast update is translated 100% in French now.
The Leap 15 release is coming. Can you test there, whether this bug exists there, too?

Hi Sarah,

I just upgraded 42.2=>42.3 so leap 15 is not for now.

Why would you create a bug if you 'just' added some translations into the system ?
You don't actually touch the real code do you ?

Updater pops up every day, so, hard to not see it.
If you want another applet, less used/visible, take a look on network-manager nm-applet. Full english ;-)

The images is exactly the same. "Software Updates" title, "Last check..." message.

That isn't a translation bug then. We should forward it.

That's not yast but (I guess) the kde update applet ('Apper').

Last time I looked, the french translations were non-existent upstream.

But I just noticed that has changed.

To be precise, the translations have been added on Jun. 5th 2018:

An update is on the way to Tumbleweed and Leap 15.1 now.

For 15.0 and 42.3 I first have to check whether the updated translations actually work there (strings may have changed in later versions).

With the proposed rpm, manually installing them and after logout/login, the "System Update" applet has his good translation in French.
