Description Nick Mironov 2018-03-25 16:34:13 UTC
I can't start YaST GUI under GNOME 3.26 Wayland session on current Leap 15.0 Beta.

When I try to launch it so: /usr/bin/xdg-su -c /sbin/yast2

I get this:
(gnomesu:3104): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_window_set_titlebar() called on a realized window
Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.
QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR points to non-existing path '/run/user/0', please create it with 0700 permissions.
Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyInvalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyqt.qpa.screen: QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display :0
Could not connect to any X display.

The same thing happens with other applications when I try to launch it with root under Wayland. When I try to run the 'r' command in Alt+F2 shell, get also an error that says something like 'Restart is not available under Wayland'.

Before last update YaST and GNOME restart worked properly. What's the matter?
P.S. I think that now my build number is 174

Please don't set bug priorities - that is not the bug reporters place to do so;

https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bug_definitions#Setting_and_Changing_Priorities_and_Severities

Resetting to P5
