Description Joaquín Rivera 2018-11-05 12:14:37 UTC
When in Start-up menu is switched the status of the service, for an instant firewald dialog disappears. It happens when starting and when stopping too.

Expected result: no flicking of the dialog visualization.
Comment 2 Joaquín Rivera 2018-11-08 14:36:35 UTC
It happens for all the product that hit this new ui:
For example, here https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/789887#step/yast2_firewall/5, before stopping the button if you click in the video available in this job the flickering is visible.
Now that we have in prod the automation I can recover manually the logs. In the meantime I wanted to provide that info above.
Comment 3 Joaquín Rivera 2018-11-16 07:39:03 UTC
This logs should contains info requested: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/2262677/file/yast2_lang-y2logs_clone.tar.bz2. You can ignore the modules failing in this job. Before failing in yast2_lang is running yast2_firewall and yast2_hostname.

Added a card to the YaST trello task board so that the issue is prioritised
with all other tasks.

Comment 7 Joaquín Rivera 2019-01-21 07:25:22 UTC
I guess we can discard this one, right? due to the flicking is not going to happen with new service widget so it doesn't apply anymore. It was cause by the old way to switch the service.
For example, this is a succesful local run with new widget: http://rivera-workstation.suse.cz/tests/1083#step/yast2_firewall/103
Comment 8 lili zhao 2019-01-21 09:35:42 UTC
I retried on SLES15-SP1-Beta2 (Candidate3 build144.3) this issue is fixed.
Comment 9 Ancor Gonzalez Sosa 2019-12-02 16:59:30 UTC
Both reporters confirmed this was fixed long ago. Closing.
