Description Mindaugas Baranauskas 2019-02-03 09:12:57 UTC
Its normal, that LiveCD doesn't have btrfs, but error is not friendly:

org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Failed; caused by 3 sender=:1.197 -> dest=:1.196 serial=6 reply_serial=9 path=; interface=; member= error_name=error.unknown_config

Yast2 logs provided as https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=795859

Not LiveCD related.

This happens when you don't use btrfs during installation (but add a btrfs file system later, for example).

While it shows a popup saying

  "No snapper configurations exist. You have to create one or more
  configurations to use yast2-snapper."

the next thing the user sees is the mentioned error popup.

Tracking in YaST Scrum board.

That's one error pop-up too many; which is admittedly redundant and not telling the average user anything, but when you click it away (which most users do instinctively anyway), the module terminates anyway. No big deal.

Closing.
