Description Tristan Miller 2019-05-22 06:10:57 UTC
Gimp 2.10.10 is unable to take screenshots, at least when running on KDE.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Gimp
2. File->Create->Screenshot…->Snap

Observed behaviour:
3. The following error dialog appears:
Execution error for 'Screenshot':
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownObject: No such object path '/Screenshot'

Expected behaviour:
3. Gimp should have taken a screenshot and opened it in a new window.

Workaround:
Launch Gimp via dbus-launch:
$ dbus-launch gimp

PS: Enable compositing and it should work.
