ever since about 9am NZST i have not been able to update to the current updates of opensuse tumbleweed. it is now 5:00pm NZST. this seems to be a server issue. also with this new update there are more than 2267 packages to install, which for me is alwarming.

please advise on when the servers are up and running.

many thanks

Reproducible: Always

The download.opensuse.org is overloaded currently and causes these symptoms.

According to https://status.opensuse.org/:

"Because of a database problem, download.opensuse.org currently has to serve all files itsself instead of redirecting to a mirror.

As a result, the server is overloaded and downloads are very slow at the moment."
