Description Fabian Vogt 2019-07-19 12:04:02 UTC
It appears like the "kde5-detection.patch" got lost.

It was integrated proerly in the releases and I don't see any change in the code -> it should still be detected properly... Is still the session variable properly available?

Actually you are right I missed one commit:

2019-05-30 11:29 +0200 Michael Weghorn ∙ Revert "tdf#123011 Detect kde5 desktop in Plasma Wayland session"

But right now I am preparing 6.3 release in LO Factory so hopefully it will be soonTM.

As long as it won't take several weeks, works for me. Note that the reason outlined in the commit message does not apply to us as Qt defaults to xcb even on Wayland for now.

6.3.0.3 is in staging projects. As such closing this as fixe, poke me if it is still misbehaving there :)

This affects Leap 15.2 and 15.1 now (maybe 15.0 as well, that already has 6.2.6.2 though), see bug#1150463 .
