Description Andreas Stieger 2019-10-03 05:10:15 UTC
MozillaThunderbird bump from 60.8.0 to 68.1.1 contains an incompatibility with enigmail also shipped in SLE 15 and openSUSE Leap 15 as a system packaged add-on. With the new TB version the enigmail add-on is marked as legacy and is not functional.

The feature parity of the OpenPGP encryption feature of the Thunderbird and Enigmail combination was explicitly spelled out as a functional requirement when this was added to SLE 15 Desktop/WE. Little bit of a regression here.

Solution is to pull up enigmail to 2.1.x or later.
