GeoIP has been discontinued by Maxmind. Please see
https://support.maxmind.com/geolite-legacy-discontinuation-notice/ for
details. Without the database GeoIP is useless. Therefore all users of GeoIP
have to either migrate to libmaxminddb or remove GeoIP support. The GeoIP
package itself will be dropped from Tumbleweed.

It is recommended to install php7-maxminddb (which is already available for Tumbleweed) and use it in combination with GeoIP2-PHP-API (https://github.com/maxmind/GeoIP2-php ).
This package must be installed via composer, it's not available as pre-packaged RPM.

The package has been dropped from Factory.
