Hi there, I am a fan of Deepin, and I enjoyed running it on Leap 15.1 and Tumbleweed about a year ago. I also distribute live installable ISO spins based on openSUSE, and I would like to create a Deepin version. Unfortunately many packages in X11:Deepin are no longer building for Leap 15.2 and Tumbleweed.

I understand that there was a theoretical security issue that couldn't be cleared with the openSUSE team. And I understand that there is a lot of churn/change in the Deepin code base that often introduces instability. Hillwood Yang mentioned that issue here:

For those reasons, I'd like to suggest changing the X11:Deepin packages to be re-based on the Fedora FZUG SRPMS:

Those SRPMS are in turn based on Arch's Deepin packages, which are generally quite stable and functional. Those distros' packages are sort of a snapshot of the Deepin codebase when it's in a good state. I think this would create a buffer between the instability of the raw bleeding-edge code coming straight from Deepin, and since there are already SRPMS for Fedora it should be a lot easier to adapt them to make them build for openSUSE Leap 15.2 and Tumbleweed. And it would take a lot of the load off of Hillwood Yang thanks to the work of the Fedora and Arch packagers.
