When reporting a KDE Plasma crash to the KDE folks, the Debug Info is needed.

Without these packages we can not properly report KDE Plasma crashes upstream to the KDE folks.

Indeed. 

plasma5-workspace origin is openSUSE:Backports:SLE-15-SP3 which is set up to skip debug packages creation (https://build.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:Backports:SLE-15-SP3)

And now?

Will we be able to properly submit bug reports with core dump backtraces to the KDE folks or, not?

We are currently working on to get at least debuginfo for the KDE packages.
I will update this bug once the packages are on it's way to be released.

Debug packages were available with Leap 15.3.
