Description Atri Bhattacharya 2022-07-03 23:55:19 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1189900 +++

With version 0.12, power-profiles-daemon has moved its dbus conf file to /usr/share/dbus-1/ instead of /etc/dbus-1/, so rpmlint complains again:

> power-profiles-daemon.x86_64: E: dbus-file-unauthorized (Badness: 10) /usr/share/dbus-1/system.d/net.hadess.PowerProfiles.conf

Requesting a modification of the white-listing in rpmlint before I submit this package to Factory. Test packages here:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:badshah400:branches:Base:System/power-profiles-daemon

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for opening the bug. We will take care of the adjusted path soon.
Comment 2 Matthias Gerstner 2022-07-06 10:01:23 UTC
I will work on this.
Comment 3 Matthias Gerstner 2022-07-06 11:11:23 UTC
I basically adjusted the whitelisting now, there is a blocker in the
openSUSE:Factory update process for rpmlint currently, however. This means the
new whitelisting will not become effective quickly ... once the blocker is
gone we will submit the change to Factory.
