NetworkManager support is an optional add-on module for zmd. SuSE packages enable NetworkManager support explicitly. The warning message makes total sense: you have chosen (well, your distro in this case) to use NetworkManager support and if it doesn't work, we provide a warning message. I assume that rm /usr/lib/zmd/modules/Novell.Zenworks.Zmd.NetworkManager.dll will get rid of this warning? Will it introduce other warnings? These messages will also appear if NetworkManager was disabled (in favor of ifup/ifdown) during intial install. As such, the uninformative message is not acceptable. If the bug is outside of zmd.rpm, pass it on. Also, the ShutdownManager message looks like pure debug to me. syslog already has the '-- MARK --' timestamp. and they appear in /var/log/zmd-messages.log, if anyone cares about them. James volunteered to handle it, thanks! Fixed in svn |
