Please attach /var/log/YaST2 as tarball here. Created attachment 84813 [details]
bzip2 tar of /var/log/YaST2
to make the pci sound card run, ich changed /etc/sysconfig/hardware/hwcfg-static-sound-0:
# YaST configured sound card snd-card-0
# Ssy1.AiGzxH9IRS7:VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller
MODULE='snd-ens1371'
STARTMODE='auto'
well it runs now, but /dev/dsp does not exist ...
I have the same problem: I have an onboard via-ac97 chip and a CM8738-based PCI Card. In yast both are shown and if I selected the via and click edit, the options for the cm8738 were displayed... The card index was incorrectly searched. Fixed in yast2-sound-2.13.13 |
