Description Marco Pallotta 2006-06-08 10:03:05 UTC
In my sony vaio vgn-fs415M, if I plug in my usb stick, the system mount it under /media/floppy (device /dev/sda) and I can access it with no problems. I think, however, there is an error because the system had to mount it under /media/usbdsk (through kde I correctly see my usb stick with the right icon usb memory)
But, always with usb strick plugged, if I plug my external usb floppy (device /dev/sdb) the system try to mount it but with errors (maybe /media/floppy is busy).
If I unplug them and I try again in a different order (first the floppy and then the usb stick) always works ok: the external floppy (now /dev/sda) is mounted under /media/floppy and the usb stick (now /dev/sdb) is mounted under /media/usbdsk.

I have reinstalled the system but now everything seems to works ok. The usb stick is always mounted under /media/usbdsk and the floppy under /media/floppy.
I don't know why in my first installation the things went wrong.
I'll try to reinstall my system again and see what it's going to happen :-)

I tried and I didn't able to reproduce the error.
I think we can fix the bug.
What do you think about it?

I did not hear of such problems from anybody else. So i rate it as invalid.
