Start yast2 sysconfig editor and and have a look at KDM_SHUTDOWN.
The proposed values and the explanation is for Xgl.

Did you do an installation or an update? It seems that you did an update, I cannot find the variable in my 10.1 system.

Please, attach /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager file
Comment 3 Andreas Klein 2006-07-03 09:36:14 UTC
It was a new installation.
I don't have the entry anymore, because I have installed the fixed package:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=88679&action=view

The KDM_SHUTDOWN entry is created by https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=183844#c6

Comment 4 Ladislav Slezák 2006-08-25 11:47:13 UTC
It's a dulicate of #183844 - if the variable was added without any metadata (that's default if it's created by yast) then the sysconfig editor reuses information from the previous variable.
