Description Florian Brunner 2006-07-09 23:07:06 UTC
Hi,

My WLAN was configured to use the 4th WEP-Passphrase (hex). I couldn't establish a connection with KNetworkManager. After I changed the WLAN to use the first, it worked.
There should be an option to specifiy, which WEP-Passphrase you are using.

Marking as Enhancement.
Comment 2 Dirk Mueller 2006-07-10 11:22:19 UTC
its a bug
Comment 3 Timo Hoenig 2006-07-10 11:37:39 UTC
The network packages indicate which key should be used. This is currently not being implemented by NetworkManager.

Adjusting summary as there is nothing what KNetworkManager can do as long as NM does not provide support for this feature.

This is not a bug but a feature request -> Enhancement
This is not likely to happen for SL 10.1 -> SL 10.2

Reassigning to Robert.

Possibly get this for 10.3 from upstream.
Comment 5 Tambet Ingo 2008-03-04 22:42:32 UTC
Fixed in factory (NM 0.7).
