Description Narayan Newton 2006-07-10 21:10:11 UTC
There appear to be a rather odd problem with changing the subscription status of a catalog via the XML-RPC interface. I carefully watched the xml being transferred and all requests are exactly the same, yet some succeed and some don't. There are no reports in the logs and no obvious reasons for this. However, about every third or fourth request for a subscription change (usually a change from not subscribed to subscribed) has no affect. I can work around this, but this seems like a bug.

Weird, works fine for me. I'll attach a small test program I wrote which subscribes to all catalogs and checks if it worked, then unsusbcribes and tests again... for 100 times. I ran it 5 times and it never failed for me.

I couldn't run your test case, but I wrote some of my own to try to pin this down and found that it was a problem on my side of things that was just very well hidden. Thanks for looking into this and I apologize for taking up your time with it.
