NetDirect Canada has started an open source project, "barry", aimed at resolving this, as part of a larger project to allow full blackbery sync on Linux. http://www.netdirect.ca/software/packages/barry/index.php The Barry project has produced bcharge, an application specifically for enabling high-output charging for Blackberries (blackberrys?). http://rivviepop.wordpress.com/2007/02/19/bcharge-charge-your-blackberry-under-linux/ Perhaps this could be integrated into SUSE in a future release? Using barry from OBS resolves this: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jganovsky-novell/openSUSE_10.3 See comment #3 |
