Description Olaf Hering 2006-08-11 08:34:20 UTC
in 10.2a3, the keys Mode_switch and Alt_L are switched, compared to earlier releases. This happens at least in the inst-sys.

in 10.1, keycode 64 gave Mode_switch, keycode 115 gave Alt_L

yast seems to call ' /usr/X11R6/bin/setxkbmap -layout us -model macintosh', which does not exist anymore. Maybe thats the reason for the keyflip. will try the installed system.
Comment 1 Olaf Hering 2006-08-11 13:20:01 UTC
setxkeymap -layout de -model macintosh -variant nodeadkeys -rules xfree86
this works in the running system, so its really just the wrong path to the binary.
Comment 2 Stefan Dirsch 2006-08-11 13:53:33 UTC
Ok. Then this needs to be fixed in YaST2.
