in yast -> Software -> Installation Source one cannot add a local directory as an installation source if one has only installed the minimum system. Yast2 needs unzip to unpack the license.zip file in media.1, and fails to add the directory if it does not find unzip. As soon as unzip is added to the installation, adding a directory as an installation source works.
