Description Martin Schlander 2006-08-16 14:04:33 UTC
It seems to me that rug can't upgrade/update single packages but only update on a catalog level. Tried:

# rug up gimp
ERROR: 'gimp' is not a valid catalog.

I think this is needed functionality that you'd find in any other cli package management.

In my case I need it for a script - but rug leaves me only two choices - update the entire catalog or first remove the package in question - and then install it again to get it updated.

mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
