Description Robert Harvey 2006-08-22 10:47:12 UTC
These logs and the situation continue from where I left off in bug 200828

At that point I had run yast update, then started zen-updater and got a list of patches it wanted to apply. I saved all the logs and uploaded them there.

Then I pressed the OK button, and got a dialogue headed "unhandled exception" with a long dump in it. That will be the first attchment, and then the logs for zmd from the point I pressed "OK".

Today is even more confusing. Look at the command line results from rug update and the zen-updater.

Surely, even though there are 3 separate front ends, they are working to the same end? automating the fetching of updates from servers. Surely they should produce the same results?
Comment 6 Robert Harvey 2006-08-23 09:23:45 UTC
Further to comment 5, I should have said that the yas online update page showed no new patches. It agreed with rug.
Comment 7 Robert Harvey 2006-08-23 09:44:46 UTC
Aggh! comments 5 & 6 and attachment 96856 [details] belong in a different report.
My apologies - I cant see any simple way of removing them

Please, reopen if you can reproduce this problem with openSUSE 10.2.

We are not going to fix this for 10.1.
