update: with no work to do, the updater does not seem sluggish. It comes back and tells you there is nothing to do quite quickly. I obtained all the updates available yesterday with YAST (see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=200873#c6) but when I ran zen-updater today It sat blank and empty with "getting update list" for over fifteen minutes. I am on a 512K broadband connection. duplicate of general performance bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 205164 *** |
