note: ftp.uni-kl.de is actually grape.suse.de which uses you.suse.de so this logs were done using the YOU.suse.de repo. I'm not sure if it's possible to know whether a delta/patch will be used in advance (before starting update). Michael, any idea? Whether a delta/patch is used is determined when the package is actually provided. Of course one could do a more optimistic guess, but a package/source can't do this based on it's own metadata. At least target/rpm access is required. It might be easier to solve this post 10.2 (new pool layout). Michael, has something changed regarding to patch/delta RPMs in 10.3 with the new libzypp? No, we still show the worst case. 10.1 ---> 11.0 :) Closing as LATER (after 10.3) reopening after 10.3 We need a support in libzypp first, reassigning... *** Bug 193708 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** We stay with the pessimistic guess and count the whole package. |
