Description David Wright 2006-09-08 06:20:46 UTC
I added the XFCE and the Mono development patterns to my install. When I clicked accept,

"SDK-Mono-10.2-22.i586(20060909-065852) cannot be installed due to missing dependencies"

"xfce-10.2-22.i586(20060909065852) cannot be installed due to missing dependencies"

I get the option to ignore or remove the packages.

Adding a few more to the list:

kde_imaging (no patterns for kde-basis)
xfce (no patterns for xfce4-session)
xfce (no patterns for xfwm)
xfce (no patterns for xfce-mcs-manager)
xfce (no patterns for xfce4-desktop)
... Gave up on xfce at this point ;)

Ooops - I'll check.

Is this CD or ftp installation from factory?
Comment 3 David Wright 2006-09-08 09:15:59 UTC
This is the Alpha 4 full ISO's that I downloaded yesterday.
Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2006-09-11 08:00:30 UTC
kde_imaging is fixed already.

xfce is a problem since we do not have xfce package on the media, only on the ftp tree.

Rudi, can we remove xfce from the CDs but keep it for DVD and ftp trees?
Comment 5 Ruediger Oertel 2006-09-11 14:51:33 UTC
ok, will hopefully disappear on next CD set
