Description Evan Bauer 2006-09-25 22:58:22 UTC
After updating my laptop from SUSE 10.0 to OpenSUSE 10.1 and regularly updating for a couple of weeks, I now get the following message when running RUG Update from the panel applet:

Updating patch:kernel-2036-0.noarch[System packages] to patch:kernel-1836-0.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates]
message:kernel-patch-message-2-1836-1.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates] needed by patch:kernel-1836-0.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates]
Establishing patch:kernel-2036-0.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates]
This would invalidate patch:kernel-2036-0.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates].
Marking this resolution attempt as invalid.

This precludes me from being able to apply any updates to my system.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks and regards,

- Evan
