Description Forgotten User hi_GfY3SuQ 2006-10-05 10:56:26 UTC
When I try to update any component of Yast I get the error message

Command: /sbin/yast2 sw_single &
Segmentation fault at SlideShow.ycp:1613
/sbin/yast2: line 233: 877 Segmentation fault $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" qt "$Y2_GEOMETRY" $Y2QT_ARGS

Totally reproducable on this machine (othyer 10.1 x86_64 machine is OK).

I tried following the web page on teh yast2 problem but most did not apply, and I did update the libzypp thing -- which led to yast2 complaining that there was a conflict between libzypp and libzypp

What exactly do/did you do?

Please attach the y2logs (see http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST) and the output of rpm -q libzypp zmd zen-updater yast yast2-packager
