Description Michal Zugec 2006-10-09 07:27:45 UTC
Lookup doesn't work if firewall is enabled. YaST still tries to look it up
but it obviously fails. No message is reported that it is because of running
firewall.

Never change a firewall configuration on your own. You can:

a.) Try to lookup and if it returns nothing and there is some firewall running,
report error, that it might be bacause of running error.
b.) When user selects to lookup, open-up a pop-up and ask them whether they
want to lookup the server despite the fact that a firewall is running and might
block the broadcast traffic.
c.) Disable the lookup button in case of running firewall and then write this
eventuality to help.

mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
