Dan, do the pam files for autologin look ok? The config files have changed location, so the SuSEconfig.gdm module has been updated, however it appears to assume that custom.conf will have commented out lines to override (oops) the default.conf settings, which custom.conf does not have. Stanislav wrote the script - is this correct Stanislav? Now we don't have to care about comments. I'm going to rewrite the script to be better readable (and maybe bi-directional). This problem is still present in Beta 1, using gdm/gnome. Just making a comment incase someone forgot to put it on the todo list, or set is as resolved for Beta 2 :) Just writing a new script parsing the new custom.conf. I have just submitted a new gdm package with the new config parser. As far as I tested it, it seems to work and creates correct configurations. Please test from factory, as soon as it will rebuild and reopen. if you find any problem. New script adds comment for each automatic entry. |
