Under a default installation with KDE as desktop.

The item list on the left side of the Yast2 Control Center does not show the selected item with high enough contrast.

My monitor is an LCD, so I don't know if that is a factor.

The icon panels on the right side show a blue background when an item is selected.

Reverted the colors of that list box to the standard toolkit colors, no longer using nonstandard colors. The effect that had initially been intended with that 5+ years ago is long gone anyway - it had been meant as a poor man's vertical tabs replacement.
