Description Peter Nixon 2006-11-04 12:58:01 UTC
Firefox and Konqueror do not honour XMPP URIs. When clicking on a link such as
xmpp:ejabberd%40conference.jabber.ru?join it should be passed to kopete or gaim. The RFC that defines XMPP URIs is at http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4622.txt

Hi Peter - I'll look at this.

Ok, it's not doable as a quick hack - the xmpp plugin doesn't support the xmpp uri so you can't just add the uri as a contact. Please report it upstream at bugs.kde.org, on kopete, against the jabber plugin. Kopete can add an url handler that Konqueror will handle. Firefox is a separate issue.
