When entering the url yast2 states the url not to be valid.
Look at the Yast2 logs from bug 218492.
And a screenshot of the error msg. here:

Works for me with beta2 - could you try to reproduce it on beta2, just like the bug 218492?
Until it is reproducible there I consider it as fixed (meybe the source just wasn't available at the time of your test?).
