Description Martin Vidner 2006-11-09 16:24:29 UTC
On a pre-Beta2 (a build from Wednesday afternoon) I entered the bootloader proposal, viewed some settings and backed off using Back.
But then the system would not boot.
So far I have found out that /etc/grub.conf contained only the line "quit", no "setup".

Can this have the same cause as bug 219409?

Logs will follow.

(Workaround: booted a floppy with grub, entered "setup (hd0) (hd0,1)")

This has been fixed in the final beta2, it was one of the reasons for the delay of beta2.

If you can reproduce this with the final beta2, please open a new bugreport. I assume it is fixed since all our installations work now...
