YaST2.tar.bz2

yast2.tar.bz2 at this point of the installation
Comment 2 Marcus Meissner 2006-11-15 09:12:24 UTC
the source was disabled however.

neithertheless i did not get asked to reregister or anything,
so I would have been left without any update source after the update.
Comment 3 Lukas Ocilka 2006-11-15 12:05:49 UTC
Marcus, the y2log seems to be incomplete. Is that the final content of /var/log/YaST2 directory?

Lslezak, could you, please, evaluate?
Comment 4 Ladislav Slezák 2006-11-15 13:05:35 UTC
The old sources remain in the system (they are just disabled), autorefresh should be also turned off - see bug #220056.

Registering of 10.2 should be done later in the workflow.
Comment 5 Lukas Ocilka 2006-11-15 13:32:27 UTC
Marcus, have you seen "Test Internet Connection" dialog in the update workflow? If you have skipped it, your report would be INVALID.

Anyway, the y2logs has been taken too early - it cannot be used to find out the exact reason, please, attach y2logs from the finished installation.

Comment 6 Marcus Meissner 2006-11-15 14:53:06 UTC
yes, it failed.

so the bugreport is actually invalid
