Description Joachim Werner 2006-11-15 21:27:14 UTC
This affects both GNOME and (probably separately) Firefox.

The correct screen size is set by sax2, and a KDE desktop looks just about right, but on GNOME the font is way to tiny.

This can be change in the Control Panel, but the option is hidden on the second level (details) of the fonts dialog, which is a place where people will not easily find it.

Even after fixing things for GNOME I still get tiny fonts within Firefox (not the menus etc., but the HTML display).

Do you mean, the DPI setting is wrong?

Can you please attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

This is probably a duplicate of bug #217790.

No response in almost a month. I'll consider it a duplicate for now.
