Description Matthias Bachert 2006-11-16 11:27:32 UTC
Scanimage -L doesn't list my SnapScan 1212U if I use it as user.

If I log in as root however it finds the scanner and I can scan with scanimage or xsane.

To be pedantic:
It's a known bug in beta2 which is fixed in beta2plus.
In beta2plus "rpm -q --changelog hal-resmgr | head" shows
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
* Mon Nov 13 2006 - lnussel@suse.de
- move all resmgr fdi files to /etc so hal applies them last (#218393)
