From /opt/kde3/share/applications/kde/opensuseupdater.desktop:
 Name=SUSE Updater Applet
 GenericName=OpenSUSE Updater Applet

openSUSE is correctly spelled with lower 'o' character. And the GenericName duplicates the Name entry in a slightly different way preventing any automatic detection/suppression of duplicate content.

Suggestion: Only set "Name=openSUSE Updater Applet".
