Description Fred Blaise 2006-11-25 15:29:09 UTC
I believe that inst_source should, on start-up, only display the list of repositories, and not load/refresh them at this time.

ie: I currently have a FACTORY repo, refresh on. It's taking over 1 hour to complete, when it completes. So, until then, I cannot enable/disable that repo, or add new ones. Really frustrating.

There should be at least a switch to skip the load/refresh at start-up, and only display the sources in order to enable/disable them before yast tries to access them.

I'm not sure whether there is some change needed.

If you do not want to refresh a source then disable the autorefresh just after the source is created. If you want to install the current packages later then manually refresh the source in inst_source and then start the package manager.

Well, not sure why the sources would need to be refreshed anyway, since, IMO, a list should only be presented at that point to be turn refresh off, for example. Plus right now, there's another bug open for the refresh issue.

Forgot to change back to ASSIGNED.

It's a duplicate, there should be "offline" mode later (see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=223600#c5)
