Description Jochen Konrad 2006-11-26 21:19:27 UTC
Hello all,
(that is my first Error-Report - so I hope it will contain all informations needed) - please be patient (;-))

I have installed Suse 10.2ß2 on an Athlon-64-Bit-System
MSI-Board K9VGM-V with SATA Hdd-drive.

After installing without any errormessages, the System booted
once more in installation mode - but only one time.. seams to
be ok after then.

But afterwards, I tried out to install software with yast
and tried also to make an update with YOU.
Result is: after the initializing sequence both tools crashed without any readeable information.

I've made a y2logs.tgz but I could not find out how to upload...
if needed I can send it ...

regards
Jochen

The log contains this line:

2006-11-26 21:58:00 <0> suse102(4375) [media] Mount.cc(mount):98 stdout: mount: No medium found

Do you have the medium in the DVD drive?

Anyway, could you try the latest version (RC2)? Beta2 is quite old and many bugs have been fixed since Beta2 release... (and I think that the problem has been reported and fixed)

(Thanks for the nice report, it provides all neded information :-))

I think that the bug has been fixed in the final version. If not then reopen.
