Yast log during the update issue
I have save this log when the autoupdate app still running
Which "updater" application do you use? opensuseupdater or zen-updater? What was the "auto update app" - is it or zen-updater again or was YaST started? When the update stops, does it mean something hangs or just the progress is not finished but you are able to finish it? I think it is the zen updater When I talk about the update app it is the zen updater. BTW, can you describe here the zen updater and the opensuseupdater? Because it is very confusing for me.. The update stop or freeze at 99%. There are no error msg on the screen and the progress bar still display 'finishing ...'. The can only close the zen updater using the cross on the window. Nothing seems to hang but I have seen several days ago a kernel update test, which was available through the zen updater and this time the update was successful. Could you make a screenshot and attach it to the bug? It should be possible simply with pressing PrintScreen button, or use your favourite application (ksnapshot,xv,gimp, ...) As it looks like a zmd/zen problem, attach also zmd logfiles (/var/log/zmd-*). Oh, not necessary - it was reported already. But please attach the zmd logfiles to the other bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 223828 *** |
