Description Stephan Binner 2006-11-30 09:42:12 UTC
zmd.spec is missing a %preun section top stop the zmd daemon before the package gets deinstalled.
Comment 1 Richard Bos 2006-12-26 19:51:16 UTC
I removed the involved zmd packages as well, and after that tried to kill
the zmd deamon. But a regular 'kill <zmd-pid>' does not stop the process.
Therefor I think that it does not make sense to try to kill the zmd-deamon
via the rpm as it won't work....

Zenworks is no more part of OpenSuSE....

For SLE10 SP1 now its there in the %postun section.
So marking this as resolved......
