I found that, press accept and check again, scim-qtimm is actually selected. It's weird. And I found that scim-32bit and scim-qtimm-32bit won't be selected by default when installing x86_64 version. These two packages are mandatory when using 32bit apps with input method. I found another weird issue: during installation I selected zh_CN as default language, zh_TW and ja as additional language. almost all packages for ja and zh_TW, including all fonts, are selected. But after installation, I found that only a few packages of ja and zh_TW were installed. All ja and zh_TW fonts were not installed. Please don't write more than one problem into one bug report. Actually there is a problem with the scim-qtimm and language patterns, scim-qtimm and the machine architecture and an another problem with the language patterns generally. Zhe Su> 4. check package scim-qtimm again, you may find that it's not selected anymore. I can reproduce that with RC5 (downloadable 4 GB DVD). Apart from scim-qtimm it also affects the packages
- ghostscript-cjk
- gtkiterm
which are deselected as soon as zh_TW is choosen.
Zhe Su> I found that, press accept and check again, scim-qtimm is actually selected. Zhe Su> It's weird. Yes, reproduced here. Same for ghostscript-cjk and gtkiterm Zhe Su> And I found that scim-32bit and scim-qtimm-32bit won't be selected by default Zhe Su> when installing x86_64 version. I can reproduce that as well with RC5 on x86_64. scim-32bit and scim-qtimm-32bit are apparently never selected by default. I cannot reproduce the issue in comment #3. I tried the procedure described there but after the installation the founder fonts as well as the sazanami fonts were installed. Mike please attach a testcase described here: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST#I_want_to_report_a_bug_related_to_package_dependencies_and_libzypp_solver._Which_logs_to_attach.3F comment0 to comment2 is duplicate. The otherone will be checked by mike again. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 206940 *** OK, I'll create a new bug for the scim-32bit problem. See bug #225749 for the scim-32bit problem. |
